
Ghaziabad, 16th August, 2026: Residents of Wave City, the first operational Hi-tech City in North India, today organised a flag hoisting ceremony to celebrate the 80th Independence Day. On this occasion, the residents, staff members and guest attended the celebrations with great zeal and patriotic fervour. The celebrations commenced with the unfurling of the national flag and the singing of the National Anthem, as participants united to honour the nation and pay homage to the sacrifices of the freedom fighters.
As part of the celebrations, cultural performances were staged, sweets were distributed, and an awards ceremony was conducted and gifts, tri-colour flags and mementoes were presented to the township’s security personnel in appreciation of their hard-work and selfless service. The celebrations concluded on a warm and joyous note, reflecting the strong sense of unity, community spirit and collective pride shared by the residents of Wave City.
