Mumbai, Oct 09: MAPIC India 2026 concluded today at the Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai, after two days of conferences, exhibitions and networking that drew over 1,000 visitors from across the retail, real estate, food and beverage, leisure and technology ecosystem.

Organised by RX India under the theme The India Advantage: Reforms, Retail & Rising Consumption, the two-day event brought together retailers, developers, investors, brands and technology providers to discuss the next phase of India's retail growth.
Umang Gupta, Country Head, RX India, said,
"Crossing 1,000 visitors over two days shows how strongly the industry believes in India's retail story. What stood out was not only the turnout but the calibre of the people in the room: retailers, developers, investors and technology leaders who came with clear intent to build, partner and expand. From luxury and mixed-use destinations to growth in Tier II and III cities, the conversations over these two days show that India's retail ambition is being matched by serious planning and capital. I thank every partner, speaker and delegate who made this edition possible."
The second day opened with a session on what it will take for India to become a global luxury retail destination, with leaders from K Raheja Realty, Oberoi Realty, Design International, Da Milano and Outlet Mall of India. "Day 2 was about where the next wave of growth will come from. Whether it was malls rethinking their tenant mix, jewellery and fashion brands reaching a younger consumer, or the industry looking beyond the metros, the discussions were candid and practical. MAPIC India has always been about bringing property, retail and technology into one room, and this edition showed how closely those worlds are now connected. We look forward to continuing these conversations with the community through the year."
