Inspired by Kerala’s artistic heritage and designed for contemporary audiences, the new property combines architecture, technology, dining and community in a distinctive entertainment experience.
PVR INOX has consistently created cinemas that reflect the character of their locations, drawing inspiration from local art, culture and design. At MyMoon, this approach comes to life through handcrafted details, vintage-inspired elements and a contemporary interpretation of Kerala’s visual heritage. Located on the prominent Chittoor Road, the property further strengthens PVR INOX’s presence in South India.
Antique cinematographic equipment and musical instruments across the public areas pay tribute to the evolution of cinema and music. Reclaimed wood, live-edge tabletops and sustainable materials add warmth, texture and a refined sense of place to the interiors. Nature is central to the concept of a “multiplex in a garden”, with plants integrated throughout the property to create a softer, more open environment.
The triple-height foyer features comfortable seating, a coffee kiosk, framed photographs and vintage musical instruments, creating an inviting arrival experience with the charm of a bygone era. A dedicated food street, accessible from both ends, offers covered seating and convenient ordering through piano windows.
With value, choice and transparency at the heart of the offering, MyMoon brings a wider range of food and beverages options across price points, alongside exceptional, personalised service. The menu includes entry-level offerings, MRP food and beverage options, weekday specials, clear vegetarian and non-vegetarian segregation, and dedicated health and wellness and kids’ menus. Audiences can also avail of unlimited free refills on the purchase of Large Popcorn and Large Cola, adding greater value to the overall cinema experience. Self-ordering food kiosks have been introduced to help guests skip queues and enjoy a faster, more seamless ordering experience.
Additional seating, retail and social spaces encourage audiences to arrive early, stay longer and enjoy the destination beyond their film. Self-ticketing kiosks, digital tabletop menus and app-based ordering make the customer journey simple and seamless. The cinema comprises five state-of-the-art screens with a total seating capacity of 814.
Each auditorium has its own visual identity, with distinct themes, colours and design treatments creating a varied yet cohesive experience. Premium recliner seating is available in the last row across four auditoriums, while one auditorium features loungers. Advanced projection and sound technologies, including PXL, 4K laser projection, Dolby Atmos immersive sound and RealD 3D, bring greater clarity, depth and impact to the cinematic experience.
