Jaipuria School’s ‘Compufest’ celebrates tech innovation and creativity

Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad, hosted its annual techno-fest, Compufest ’26, bringing together over 1,200 students from more than 50 schools for a celebration of technological innovation, creativity and collaboration under the tagline “Unparalleled | Exotic | Supernal.”

Organised by the school’s student technology club, Cyber Crew, in collaboration with the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) team, the fest featured competitions in Artificial Intelligence, coding, robotics, gaming, filmmaking, sustainability, business strategy, debate and policy. With a focus on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the event encouraged students to become creators, critical thinkers and problem-solvers.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by Major General Rakesh Bassi, SM, a distinguished veteran of the Indian Army Corps of Engineers. The ceremony featured the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a dance presentation, “Shiv: The Cosmic Rhythm.”

Principal Mr. Anit Arora welcomed the gathering and highlighted the importance of coding and technological literacy in preparing students for the future. Chief Guest Major General Bassi encouraged students to use AI as an aid while relying on their own intelligence for innovation and creativity. He also emphasised discipline and appreciated the enthusiastic participation of students from over 50 schools.

The two-day fest witnessed enthusiastic participation in events such as AI Innovation Challenge, Code Bid, Robo Race, Robo Soccer, Robo War, Drone Racing and Impactathon. Competitions including Idea to Impact and the Greenovation Challenge promoted sustainable innovation, while Cine Vista, Reel Craft, Visual Suite, Waste to Wonder and Canvas Chronicles celebrated creativity. Events such as Mission Rozgar, Corporate Crossfire, Aawaz and Reverse Rhetoric tested participants’ business acumen, critical thinking and communication skills.

The valedictory ceremony celebrated the achievements of the participants and revisited the highlights of Day 1. A soulful Sufi musical rendition added a cultural dimension to the occasion. The ceremony also acknowledged the contributions of Cyber Crew and the ATL’s Tinkethics team, including the support extended by Rancho Lab mentors. The much-awaited prize distribution recognised outstanding performances across events, with Gurukul The School winning the overall rolling trophy.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and words of appreciation by Shourya Sharma and Avnish Kumar Singh, Presidents of the ATL’s Tinkethics Club and Cyber Crew respectively.

Compufest ’26 reaffirmed the school’s commitment to nurturing future-ready learners by integrating technology, creativity, sustainability and collaboration. The two-day extravaganza provided a dynamic platform for young minds to showcase their talents, exchange ideas and transform possibilities into innovative solutions.
