Building Trust in the AI Era: Genesys Advances Climate, Governance and Community

Bengaluru, August 12: Genesys®, a global cloud leader in AI-Powered Experience Orchestration, today released its sixth annual Sustainability Report, detailing the company’s progress during its fiscal year 2026 (Feb. 1, 2025- Jan. 31, 2026) across responsible AI, climate action and community impact as the company continued to drive enterprise adoption of the Genesys Cloud™ platform and its AI capabilities.

As organisations increasingly rely on AI to transform customer and employee experiences, Genesys continued to invest in the governance, sustainability and trust essential for scaling the technology responsibly. The progress highlighted throughout the report reflects the company’s belief that responsible innovation requires meaningful progress across environmental stewardship, responsible AI and long-term business resilience.

Climate progress remained at the forefront of the company’s sustainability strategy during the 2026 fiscal year. Genesys reduced overall greenhouse gas emissions by 15% organically compared to the previous year while maintaining carbon-neutral operationi for its Genesys Cloud platform. Validation of the company’s near-term Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) targets reinforced its pathway toward achieving net zero by 2040, and LEED Platinum certification for its Chennai, India office, along with LEED Gold certifications for its Paris and Brest, France offices, expanded its global portfolio to eight LEED-certified workplaces, including four Platinum and four Gold facilities.

The report showcases several milestones that reinforced the company’s commitment to responsible AI. Genesys earned ISO/IEC 42001 certification for the Genesys Cloud platform, launched the Genesys Cloud Trust Centre to provide customers with greater transparency into its security, privacy and AI governance practices, and became a partner of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Centre for AI Excellence.

Additional FY26 highlights include:

  • More than 33 million conversations between charities and people in need were enabled through the Genesys Charitable Discount Program since FY24, advancing the company’s goal of enabling 80 million charitable conversations by FY31.
  • Genesys earned a fourth consecutive EcoVadis Gold Medal, placing the company among the top-performing companies globally for sustainability and responsible procurement.
  • Employees logged nearly 12,000 volunteer hours, supporting more than 1,000 nonprofit organisations worldwide.

As organisations continue to adopt AI at scale, Genesys is focused on helping customers innovate with confidence.
