CheckForChange Apollo Cradle Urges Women to Prioritize Health

Bangalore, India, 10th March, 2025 – In celebration of International Women’s Day, Apollo Cradle & Children’ Hospital successfully concluded its impactful #checkforchange health awareness campaign, highlighting the critical importance of women’s health and the various life-stage changes women experience.

The campaign, held across Apollo Cradle Bangalore centers in Rajaji Nagar, Koramangala, and Jayanagar, featured a series of engaging activities designed to promote regular health check-ups and proactive wellness. Notably, a vibrant walkathon and bikeathon saw women from diverse backgrounds and age groups coming together to champion the cause.

Participants collectively covered an impressive 35 kilometers, symbolizing their commitment to prioritizing women’s health. The walkathon was further elevated by the esteemed presence of the Sowmya Reddy President of the Karnataka Mahila Congress Committee and Former Member of the Legislative Assembly, who graced the event as Chief Guest, lending her support to the initiative.

“Women are the backbone of a healthy society, and it is essential to take care of their health from the beginning of their journey,” stated Anubhav Prashant, COO, Apollo Cradle and Apollo Fertility. “Women’s health in India is a complex and multifaceted issue, encompassing a wide range of concerns. The #checkforchange campaign resonated strongly with the community, witnessing an overwhelming participation of close to 1000 individuals marching together in solidarity. This massive turnout underscores the growing awareness and concern surrounding women’s health in India.
