Visakhapatnam: 12th March, 2025: Adani Gangavaram Port the deepest and the most modern port in the country as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program celebrated the National Safety Week at the port. The port team has successfully completed vital improvements and repairs to the road connecting Gangavaram Village with NH-16 to improve connectivity to people. This initiative, undertaken in observance of National Safety Week aligns with the theme ‘Safety & Wellbeing Crucial for Viksit Bharat,’ aims to enhance road safety, minimize risks, and ensure seamless mobility for all stakeholders.
The project focused on critical areas, including Jaggu Junction, various drive-over bridges, and GVMC approach facilities, addressing long-standing road safety concerns. These enhancements will significantly improve accessibility and usability, fostering a safer and more efficient transport network for residents, businesses, and port stakeholders.
Executed in collaboration with the Adani Foundation as part of its community infrastructure development initiatives, the project was meticulously planned and implemented in coordination with local authorities to ensure minimal disruption to normal traffic flow.
