Due to domain expiry issues, Kat.ph site was abruptly shut down from Friday night. The users were looking for an explanation as Kat.ph is the most popular torrent site after Piratebay; and they kept asking questions to the support about the issue and when they’ll be back again.
On Friday night, Kat.ph tweeted that they will be back in 45-90 minutes, which didn’t happen; and yesterday they again tweeted for the users to keep using the previous site KickAssTorrents.com. With this, there was a speculation started among users that Kat.ph will be coming as a new domain with .com suffix.
But merely one hour back Kickasstorrents again tweeted “Kat.ph is back!” and will be with the suffix .ph . This brought a relief among the users and they’ve congratulated the support people of online torrent site Kat.ph .

Kat.ph was originally founded as KickAssTorrents in 2009, but later due to domain seizure issues, they’ve to change the name into Kat.ph, which became more popular. Even after getting banned by Italian internet providers, it is the second most popular torrent site.
